Hello Senators. I listened to a rather powerful video today of Amy Klobuchar’s response to you, Senator Cruz, referring to politics as theater. Let me start by saying I am mortified to have you represent myself and my fellow Texans with that type of attitude. I also believe you aren’t stupid. In fact, I bet you are rather intelligent to have landed where you are. That is why I firmly believe you know EXACTLY what you are doing right now and the hypocrisy of it. Unfortunately Senator Cruz is not up for re-election this year, but Senator Cornyn, I hope you remember that you are. Beto came really close to beating Senator Cruz, and I believe were all much more riled up this year. I realize neither of you give a damn about me or my fundamental rights - partly because I’m a woman and partly because I’m a democrat - but I do know you care a lot about keeping your power. I’m also seeing just how many people are sick of both of you acting in a cowardly manner just to keep your power. You don’t represent the beautiful state of Texas that I know. I can’t wait to help vote you out of office.
P.S. You’d be wise to listen to Amy and every one of her points. The country has been shifting more and more left, so it’s only a matter of time before the government catches up.
