Could you please schedule a vote today or tomorrow to pass HR 6201 - the Families First Coronavirus Response Act ? It provides critical assistance to millions of families by providing paid sick leave and free coronavirus testing. This bill was overwhelmingly supported by House members (363 to 40), for good reason - we all need to help each other in this time of crisis. This was passed on Sat 3/14 - why has McConnell delayed a vote on this piece of legislation ? Regardless, please pass it ASAP.
In general, we desperately need to stay head of this pandemic and get as many people as possible tested NOW. In South Korea, they’re testing 10,000 people PER DAY. We are nowhere near that capacity and our government has failed to take fast, unified action to stop the spread of the virus.
