It is looking more and more likely that Biden will be coronated as the nominee despite having no visible campaign, no base of enthusiastic supporters, no further debates, etc. many, me included, feel very much like we are watching the DNC tell us who we chose, rather than letting the choice flow from the rank and file voter.
It is almost as if we are seeing that scene in “The Wizard of Oz” played out in politics; “pay no attention to the man behind the curtain”.
When the exit polls don’t match the results in other countries we call the election failed. Why not here?
Many voters are not happy with the way the primaries are being run. I think you, as top legislators have a duty, even in these extraordinary times, to make sure our elections are fair and honest. The appearance that this is not so undermines our republic.
