DEFUND THE POLICE!

I'm appalled by your overstep today to restrict raising property taxes in reaction to defunding the police. Your actions are purely driven by fear and not based in fact. Black communities want the same resources available to those in white communities. The call to defund the police isn't about getting rid of the police. In fact, it would make their jobs easier by allocating funds to take duties off their plates and allow them to focus more on their jobs. This IS how white communities are run and black communities want to be equal. You should be ashamed of yourself for everything in 2020. I can't wait to vote for anyone who isn't you. You do not represent Texas and what we actually want.
