An open letter to the U.S. Congress

DACA should be law!

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

It is celebratory that the US supreme Court has rejected the Trump administration's arbitrary attempt to deport the DACA recipients. I am a small business employer. I have one who is an employee of mine and is an extremely valuable member of my team. It is an injustice and a travesty that we have put these young people through, along with their friends and families, of which I am one. They do not deserve the kind of uncertainty and anxiety we have put them through for years. It is long past due that we make DACA federal law rather than presidential policy. These are Americans in as much as any of our young people are Americans. They fully contribute to American society, many of them frontline workers in the Covid 19 pandemic crisis. Others are in the armed services, and all of them are contributing members of our society. Put this on your legislative agenda as a priority! Give these young people a clear path to citizenship and end the inhumane bouncing ball of their status. My vote will reflect your status on this important issue.
