An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Police violence

2 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

I am writing because I would like to see you back the bill being proposed in Congress related to police violence. We should put a ban on choke holds, and have much greater distinctions between when no knock warrants are used. All police officers should be required to go through racial bias training and more de-escalation trainings. There should also not be a transference of military style weapons provided to police. Our police should not be such massive budget by lines.
