The Times They Are A’Changing…?

It pains me to realize that my parents worked the better part of their lives fighting for things like civil rights for ALL people (not just "people we like") and environmental conservation instead of raping the landscape; full access to a good education for everyone who wants one. These were once the birthright of all Americans, or so I was led to believe when I was growing up in the suburbs in the mid 20th century. Now that Donald Trump has invaded the White House we are witnessing the systematic rollback of all vestiges of human decency that were ever part of the legislative framework as we knew it back in the 20th century. Not that Trump is the only President to commit these indiscretions but he has taken the process to its ultimate extreme - Rob the Poor to Feed the Rich - and accelerated it beyond anyone's imagination. At the same time he presents himself as being "for the people" when it is abundantly clear that he cares only about himself. I can’t think of any other way to say this except, WE MUST STOP PRETENDING THAT IT IS OK FOR TRUMP TO BE PRESIDENT! PLEASE DO ALL YOU CAN TO REMOVE HIM FROM OFFICE!
