Trump's action of sending unidentified federal forces to kidnap peaceful protesters from the streets of Portland, over the objections of local officials, is the establishment of an American Gestapo.
This is an unprecedented assault on civil liberties by the federal government. It cannot be allowed to continue. Those behind it cannot be allowed to continue to hold office.
This is the moment where, if this is permitted to continue unchecked and unpunished, America loses any semblance of due process and rule of law.
If Congress does not act to rein in this rogue administration headed by a president who has proven himself time and again unfit to lead, we will lose everything America was ever supposed to be.
