From here on out any legislation that’s crafted regarding Covid-19 stimulus MUST include national 2020 election provisions, defer ALL student loan payments (not just federal) , increase state funding for unemployment payments AND infrastructure, and expand the $1200 stimulus payment at LEAST 3 more months.
These provisions must include securing absentee or vote-by-mail for everyone in the national and state elections in November. You cannot put you or any other politician’s job safety above the safety of our great republic’s people. If our government can ensure that the constitutionally mandated census is implemented through the mail, then you can ensure that vote-by-mail can be implemented as well.
One third of the country is out of work, or on reduced work. We are suffering and need to know that our elected officials are taking care of Kansan’s that can’t pay their bills, can’t feed their families, and are losing their businesses. DO WHAT WE ELECTED YOU TO DO AND SPEAK FOR US.
