Stand with America

The recent events across the country are both inspiring and utterly horrifying. No one, not a single citizen, should EVER have to fight so hard to be treated as human beings. And we should NEVER have to be concerned about our president threatening his own citizens with military violence. EVER. I am ashamed that there has largely been silence from the state of Florida regarding Trump’s clear dismissal of constitutional rights, and his mockery of the American people. A chief executive that gasses his own citizens and clergy to take an already asinine photo-op with religious scripture that he cannot even hold up properly is a chief executive that does not care for democracy or civil liberties. It is time that Congress put aside partisan bickering and stand together to protect our constitution from a demagogue hell-bent on consolidating his power.
