Ensure everyone can vote by mail in November.

Vote by Mail for Everyone isn't a nice to have, it's a MUST HAVE for the 2020 presidential election. We absolutely have to be prepared for Covid-19 to not be handled by then, and for it to still be unsafe for people to be out in groups during the election. As we saw in Wisconsin's primary, trying to change gears and get mail in ballots to just one state—only the 20th largest in the country and not even 2% of the country's population—proved an insurmountable task, especially when paired with efforts by the GOP to prevent necessary changes to help address the challenges. Now look at doing that for the whole country, and we've got not even half a year to get the whole voting population set up for vote by mail. Add in the fact that we've seen multiple states not implementing the necessary stay at home orders to flatten the Covid-19 curve, as well as record amounts of voter suppression, and we know that it's not just a matter of resources to aid the states being required, but a Federal mandate to ensure that voters are being protected without having to choose between their health and their ability to participate in the political process. We're seeing states put other interests above the safety of their people, and it is the Federal government's obligation to ensure that where the states fail, the people are not left out in the cold. Provide resources, money and assistance to ensure that all states are prepared to be fully vote by mail for the November election.
