I read about your recent response to a question about restoring the “Blue Slip” rule should Democrats regain control of the Senate. What a horrible way to shoot the Democratic Party in the foot and allow the GOP to once again — ask Patrick Leahy — walk all over the responsibilities of the Senate to appoint jurists. I certainly hope you “misspoke” and will rethink your approach.
