GOP = TOAST

Greetings. I am a voting constituent in rural west Texas. Once again I’m experiencing the effects of never-ceasing chaos combined with ‘whatever.’ I just want to yawn. Examples. “Today, Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell said that a new coronavirus relief bill is imperative, but just hours later, Trump announced on Twitter that he was cancelling further talks between the White House and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Stocks dropped 600 points, and vulnerable Republican senators panicked.” A few hours later, Trump changed his tune. “If I am sent a Stand Alone Bill for Stimulus Checks ($1,200), they will go out to our great people IMMEDIATELY. I am ready to sign right now,” Mr. Trump tweeted Tuesday night, adding Wednesday morning: “Move Fast, I Am Waiting To Sign!” I’m happy for him to try and buy my vote. It won’t work, but I feel like I deserve it for the mental anguish of the last 4 years. "A GOP group working to elect Senate Republicans conducted polling over the weekend in four states — Colorado, Georgia, Montana and North Carolina — as Trump was hospitalized. The president’s numbers dropped ‘significantly’ in every state, falling by about five points in all four. ‘The president is in real trouble,’ said one of the group’s operatives, who is also close to the White House." Duh. If y’all don’t smell the profuse blood in the water, on every metric, you’re as deluded as the man you support. And the icing on the cake of GOP despair... “Financial services company Goldman Sachs today forecast that the Democrats will take both the White House and the Senate, and said a Democratic sweep would mean a faster recovery and thus would be good for the economy. Moody’s Analytics, a subsidiary of another financial services company, recently found that Biden’s plans would add 7.4 million more jobs to the economy than Trump’s would.” I’m thinking your party might want to try steroids. They seem to have added extra verve to Mr. Trump’s already crazy machinations. You’ll still lose but at least you’ll go down fighting. Like Don Quixote.
