An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Congress Must Go Into Virtual Session!

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

Hi, I’m a constituent from Venice and a member of Indivisible CA-33. You’ve probably already thought of this, because as a representative from CA, you are usually ahead of the curve. But just in case, I’m writing to urge you and your colleagues to pass emergency legislation that would allow Congress to meet digitally during our nation's time of crisis. With two members of Congress having already tested positive for COVID-19, it's possible that in a week's time, there may be many more members infected. This could lead to so many home-quarantines that Congress would be unable to achieve a quorum leaving Donald Trump unchecked. We cannot allow that to happen. Please pass emergency legislation now. Thank you for your time and attention.
