Extend Safer at Home

Safer at Home is saving lives. The health and safety of our friends, family and neighbors should be everyone’s top priority right now. Yet some individuals, led by corporate greed, are urging a reopening of our economy before the experts and data say we’re out of the woods.  Make no mistake — if we end social distancing too early, more people will get sick and die. That’s a scientific inevitability.  Wisconsinites have made an enormous sacrifice the past 6 weeks for our public health. For things to return to normal (and stay that way), we need to keep up the good work and be intentional about the steps we take forward. If we jump the gun, we’ll throw away all the progress we’ve made so far in fighting this virus.  I urge you to support Gov. Evers’ extension of Safer-at-Home. Lives depend on it.
