I’m am writing to express my disgust at the current “pause” on visa appointments for students across the world. Foreign students WANT to come to the US to study at our incredible institutions. They provide knowledge and experience to our population, but also learn more about the US than can be known through the media. I encourage you to pressure DHS to lift this ridiculous pause and to allow the current process for foreign students to play out as it has. We have not seen a terrorist event from student visa holders since 2001. We have seen plenty of terror from those within our own country.
