First, I want the Senator to oppose cloture on the NDAA. This is for two reasons. First, I strongly oppose Section 1217, which would mandate an endless military and intelligence partnership with Israel that is contrary to our national interests. Second, a $1.5T military budget is absolutely insane. Americans are literally starving. No money for bombs when we can’t afford healthcare. Vote NO. I will be watching this issue very closely. Second, I adamantly oppose the confirmations of Jay Clayton and Todd Blanche. Each is dangerous, unfit, and has no respect for the Constitution. Blanche should be disbarred for his participation in Trump’s “weaponization fund” scheme, and Clayton is no better. Please oppose. Thanks.
