I am a constituent from Sequim. I am gravely concerned and appalled that you may vote yes on the the Laken Riley Act. The bill exploits the tragic death of Laken Riley to sow widespread fear of immigrant communities. It’s a stepping stone to mass detention and deportation with no due process. Vote NO. What we as constituents are hearing during the confirmation hearings is that Dems are not fighting to keep the unqualified, criminal, extremist, conspiracy theory sycophants out of government. I am sure it is disappointing to watch the Republicans lie like cruz did about the Big Lie, etc. but we count on you to repeatedy emphasize the extremist positions of these candidates.If Democrats continue to lie down and grant power to the oligarchy all is lost. Fight like you mean it. Figure out ways to stop Reps like they stopped you when you were the majority Where are the brilliant Dems????? Seems only Republicans can figure out ways to govern from the minority. Why cant we????
