The unorganized, reckless purge of federal agencies will have disastrous consequences for weeks, months, and years to come. Mass layoffs and agency closures are being carried out without strategy or concern for public safety. Essential services like disaster response, food safety, air travel security, and public health protections are being gutted without a plan to maintain stability. Cutting costs responsibly is one thing. Dismantling government without oversight is another. My federal representatives have failed to act, so I am urging you—at the state and federal level—to take a stand. Demand accountability, demand a plan, and stop this dangerous dismantling before irreversible harm is done.
