Protect the right of medical professionals to make clinical decisions about gender-affirming care free from political interference. Medical care should be guided by training, evidence, and the patient in front of the doctor, not by legislators with no clinical background and an agenda to push. When politicians insert themselves into exam rooms, patients lose. Doctors providing gender-affirming care are forced to weigh legal risk over medical judgment, and the people who suffer most are transgender and nonbinary patients who needed that care in the first place. Medical care should be determined by medical professionals, not the whims of a political agenda. Get politics out of the doctor-patient relationship and let trained professionals do their jobs.
