As your constituent, I encourage you to do everything you possibly can go end gun violence in this country. Namely, we can start by reinstating the Assault Weapons Ban. So please do everything you can to pass a new Assault Weapons Ban for 2024. committed, and a national waiting period for gun purchases. You could also push for national background check requirements, a federal database of gun owners, laws that hold gun manufacturers accountable for crimes That's just to begin. Much more work is needed. But please do everything you can to make these changes at the federal level, immediately. This is an election year, and I know many of us want to see this happen.
