Vote no on the government shutdown deal

To: Rep. Foster, Sen. Durbin, Sen. Duckworth

From: A verified voter in Lake In The Hills, IL

November 11

I am writing as your constituent to urge you to vote NO on the proposed shutdown deal. While I understand the need to keep the government running, this deal fails to address the root causes of the spending problem and only continues the pattern of short-term fixes that burden taxpayers and future generations. We need responsible fiscal leadership that prioritizes reducing unnecessary spending, securing our borders, and protecting essential services for the American people. Passing yet another bloated compromise sends the message that fiscal accountability can wait, when in truth, we cannot afford to wait any longer. Please stand firm and vote NO on this deal. The people you represent deserve a sustainable, transparent solution, not another stopgap that sacrifices long-term stability for political convenience.
