I am writing to beg you to vocally support the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and protect it from being unlawfully dismantled by the Trump administration. The CFPB does vital work to protect consumers like me from being scammed by predators. A block to its funding is both illegal and also puts me at direct risk for financial harm. I’ve had my bank charge me fees fir services I didn’t sign up for before; I don’t want to see this practice because prevalent.
