I am writing to ask that you support and help pass the NREPA, HR 2420/S 1198, and protect the beautiful wilderness of the northern Rockies. Even though I have only visited the region once, there is great satisfaction in knowing that wilderness still exists, largely untouched by the hand of man. Wilderness provides abundant clean water and air and gives us a place of refuge. It harbors thriving biodiversity and scientific discovery, and it is an integral part of our nation’s history. We must protect our forests and all the life that calls it home. We should ensure good wilderness management and not just hand such beautiful peaceful areas over to loggers and developers with no thought to current and future generations. Even though it is far away I hope you can understand the importance of such vast and beautiful wilderness. Our own state would be much poorer without forest and wild lands, and our country is better off when such land is protected and cared for. Support the NREPA and vote yes on HR 2420/S 1198. Thank you.
