am writing to DEMAND that you vote NO on the DHS funding bill. No funding for ICE until we see major changes, real concession. 1. ICE must end its operations in Minneapolis and Maine. 2. Before appropriating any funds for ICE, Congress must legislate to remove ICE immunity. Pass the "Ending Qualified Immunity for ICE Agents Act" (H.R. 4944). 3. Insist on investigations of the murders of Renee Good and Alex Pretti as well as others killed by ICE. 4. Remove Kristi Noem and Greg Bovino. .5. Legislate to require body camera, identification, and no masks for any and every person involved in immigration enforcement. 5. Ensure that members of congress can do their duty of oversight. 6. Freeze Federal funding for ICE now. 7. ICE could be a tool to interfere with elections. Pass a law to ensure that there is NO immigration enforcement activity or presence of DHS agents for a week before every election. Make it clear that Trump's attempts to illegally acquire election rolls will not be accepted.....................................IF you have to shut down the government, DO SO. The entire world is looking on with HORROR at the violence and terror perpetrated by ICE and at the BLATANT SHAMELESS lies of the Trump officials. YOU NEED TO STOP THIS DISASTER NOW BEFORE IT IGNITES A CIVIL WAR, BEFORE AN ICE AGENT SHOOTS INTO A CROWD. Make no mistake: we are at an inflection point. There are things you can do; and doing nothing is not an option. You own the consequences of your votes and we are watching; history will judge you.
