As a legal resident with a valid work permit since 2019, he should never have been summarily deported without due process. The fact that he remains unjustly detained by the Salvadoran authorities, cut off from communication with his American wife and family, is unacceptable. Urgent action must be taken to secure his immediate return to the United States where he has the right to reside and work.
