I am appalled by the unwarranted and likely illegal actions by our military blowing up boats in the Caribbean and the Pacific and then going back and killing survivors. This is manifestly illegal and constitutes war crimes. There is no evidence that these boats were smuggling drugs, even if so they could easily be interdicted and searched by our Coast Guard and those responsible could be arrested. Also, these boats are too small and don’t carry enough fuel to reach the US. Pete Hegseth seems to have given these orders. He is grossly unqualified for this job and should be removed immediately. He is forcing rank and file troops to be responsible for carrying out illegal orders without legal guidance, having fired all the JAGs. I am against war with Venezuela. We may not like its leader but going to war makes no sense and doesn’t benefit us at all. I don’t want my country to be carrying out war crimes!
