Why are you opposing cancer research? I'm seeing more and more reports about funding that has been slashed for basic science, basic research to help cure cancer. Tennessee has several of the best research organizations in the world. Why would you want to hobble them in their quest to understand disease? Please explain how less funding of cancer research is good for your constituents.
