The names of the criminals in the Epstein Files should not be redacted.

Congress needs to press the DOJ for unlawfully redacting the names of the victimizers. The Epstein Transparency Act, that was passed by Congress and signed by Trump, mandated that the names of victims and survivors be redacted but not those that committed those crimes. Any person that committed crimes against children needs to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. It doesn't matter what political party a person belongs to, a rapist of children deserves no leniency. There was an email released from a redacted email address to Jeffrey Epstein, that said "Thank you for a fun night. Your littlest girl was a little naughty" There was also an email from a Violent Crimes Against Children, Human Trafficking Unit that wanted to know if the 10 co- conspirators were located. That the 10 included 5 from New York, 1 from North Carolina, 1 in Boston, and 3 in Florida. These individuals need to be investigated and named. I understand that it might not look good for someone and that the whole world doesn't need the details of that person YET. We shouldn't get it because that person should be under investigation and those emails are evidence. However, Congress should have access to the names so there is equity and honesty in the investigation. Americans need to believe that it's not just Trump and his DOJ that have access to that information. There are 2 reasons that can't be acceptable. The first is that the cover up of the files is already flagrant enough that no one actually believes anything will happen to the pedophiles that raped children. The second reason is that Donald Trump and his administration are not above using this information to blackmail those that are incriminated. As members of Congress, as elected officials, you have the obligation to protect our children. (Including from ICE) But many of you have sold your soul for this shameful administration. Force the DOJ to give you the names of the people implicated in those files. Investigate these crimes like the majority of Americans want. Start a committee that focuses on the investigation of those names and prove to all of us, that you care about the rape, trafficking, and trauma that these young ladies lived through. No one is above the law.
