Ban presidential crypto self-enrichment undermining democracy

The recent dinner hosted by President Trump for buyers of his $TRUMP meme coin is a disturbing display of overt corruption and self-enrichment at the expense of the presidency. With an estimated $148 million spent by investors to secure seats, and the top holders receiving exclusive VIP access and $100,000 watches, this event represents an unprecedented level of monetization of the office. While the White House denies any impropriety, the fact remains that the Trump family and associated companies hold a majority stake in the remaining $TRUMP coin supply and have already profited over $320 million in fees. This blatant mingling of personal financial interests with the powers of the presidency is unacceptable and undermines the integrity of our democratic institutions. Swift action must be taken to prohibit such unethical practices and restore faith in the impartiality of our highest office. We urge you to support legislation that would ban presidents and their families from engaging in crypto ventures and other private business dealings that present conflicts of interest during their terms. The American people deserve leadership focused solely on serving the national interest, not personal enrichment.
