I urge you to take immediate action to investigate Donald Trump and Elon Musk for their ongoing efforts to undermine our economy, national security, and democratic institutions since January 20. Their actions mirror historical authoritarian figures who have consolidated power at the nation’s expense. Since taking office, Trump has issued executive orders that destabilize the economy: Tariffs on Key Trading Partners (Jan 31, 2025) – A 25% tariff on Canadian and Mexican goods and a 10% tariff on Chinese imports threaten trade relationships and risk economic retaliation. Suspension of U.S. Foreign Aid (EO 14169) – A 90-day halt on development assistance disrupts global stability and damages diplomatic ties. Dismantling DEI Programs – The elimination of federal diversity initiatives is a divisive move with economic and social consequences. Beyond policy, Trump has weakened government institutions, allowing Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency—an unelected advisory body—to interfere in federal operations. This overreach threatens governance integrity. Musk’s unchecked control over national infrastructure (energy, transportation, communications) and access to private and classified data is a national security risk. His influence is unprecedented and dangerous. These actions demand immediate oversight. I urge you to investigate and, if warranted, pursue legal proceedings.
