I need you to support the investigation into reports that military personnel across 50 installations were told the Iran conflict is part of God's plan and that President Trump is anointed by Jesus to trigger Armageddon. The Military Religious Freedom Foundation received over 200 complaints from service members in every branch who were subjected to this religious indoctrination by their superiors. Our military swears an oath to the Constitution, not the Bible. The separation of church and state doesn't allow for holy wars. When non-commissioned officers tell troops that military engagement is tied to the Book of Revelation and Jesus Christ's return, they cross a constitutional line. One complaint came from 15 service members, including 11 Christians, who reported being told Iran engagement was part of divine prophecy. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has hosted white nationalist Christian leaders at the Pentagon and instituted prayer sessions that employees are expected to attend. This transforms our military into a religious theocracy. We criticize Iran for exactly this kind of governance.
