Oppose the KOSA packages and support deletion of minors' data!

To: Sen. Warnock, Sen. Ossoff, Rep. Carter

From: A constituent in Hinesville, GA

February 15

Age verification has proven to be a problem instead of a proven benefit, allowing more groomers in kid-friendly online spaces than in the spaces that are erroneously claimed to groom kids --adult spaces. Teen-friendly spaces have resulted in the ROBLOX kidnapping, the Discord data leaks, and kids are in more danger than if there was no age verification at all. Deleting the data and accounts of minors upon request should have been more robustly enforced, but instead our officials seem more focused on feel-good laws and censorship. I am calling on you to oppose KOSA, KOSMA, IODA, ENFORCE, and the SCREEN Acts.
