The debate last week was sickening. President Biden was wholly unable to defend his formidable record of accomplishments from his first term. I’m a lifelong Democrat who voted for you, President Biden in 2020, and Hillary Clinton in 2016. I take the President at his word that the future of our republic is at stake in this election. That is why I think he needs to do the right thing, step aside, and let someone else win the nomination of the party who can articulate a positive vision for the future and prosecute a coherent argument against Trump. Get President Biden to drop out of the race and allow an open convention to pick a strong and exciting candidate that can beat Trump in November.
