As your constituent, I am writing to express my alarm with the unprecedented interference of RFK Jr. in the ACIP advisory committee. For nearly 70 years, ordinary citizens like me have relied on the unbiased scientific evaluation by the ACIP to make decisions about vaccines that our families rely on for our health and safety. It is unacceptable and unprecedented for a political appointee to interfere in this process. I urge you to take action to protect the independence and scientific integrity of this important institution.
