It pains me to see that some of our elected officials hold sneaky midnight votes, push through unpopular legislation with little to no time to debate, and add unpopular bills to must-pass legislation. I am calling on you to stop your fellow senators from using underhanded tactics to pass any bills in next week's markup session before recess. Be the shining standard in Washington. Do not allow them to hold midnight votes, rush bills into law last minute, or sneak them into other bills.
