Stop the RUSH to KILL US with DATA Centers

To: Rep. Conklin, Sen. Langerholc, Gov. Shapiro

From: A constituent in State College, PA

May 23

PROTECT YOUR CONSTITUENTS and our beautiful state from the atrocious expansion of data centers — pass the 4 bills (passed by the PA House) stalled in the state senate that would stop utilities from passing data center costs to ratepayers. They would require water impact reports before construction. They would require data centers to pay for infrastructure upgrades instead of us. They would require community benefit agreements. Pennsylvania communities deserve enforceable protections before any more approvals are granted.
