Tell DOGE to release the funds for vet care and food for TSA bomb sniffing dogs

To: Sen. Fetterman, Rep. Dean, Sen. McCormick, Pres. Trump

From: A constituent in Lansdale, PA

March 15, 2025

The bomb-sniffing canine units play a critical role in enhancing security and safeguarding lives at transportation hubs across the country. Cutting funding for their veterinary care and nourishment would severely hamper their ability to perform this vital task effectively. It is imperative that the Department of Government Efficiency restores the funds necessary to ensure these dedicated working dogs receive proper medical attention and sustenance. Failure to do so could jeopardize public safety and national security. Preserving the operational readiness of the TSA's explosives detection canine teams must be prioritized. The well-being of these invaluable assets should not be compromised due to budgetary constraints. Their service merits our full support and investment in their health and performance.
