Stand UP

To: Sen. Durbin, Rep. Foster, Sen. Duckworth

From: A constituent in Aurora, IL

November 6

Voters just gave you a MANDATE. People who’d given up on politics came back and took a chance on you. Please, I am begging you, do not waste it. We’ve seen this movie before. Democrats win, they get cautious, they spend two years “building consensus” with people who want them dead politically, they do jack shit, and then they act shocked when everyone stays home next time. Don’t do that to us again. Pass bold things fast, and fight loudly when they get blocked, so we can SEE you fighting. We’ll forgive you for losing a fight. What we won’t forgive is you not throwing a punch.
