Oppose the Sunshine Protection Act! Make the next day a holiday instead

To: Rep. Carter, Sen. Ossoff, Sen. Warnock

From: A constituent in Hinesville, GA

October 29

Congress is choosing to focus on things that don't matter instead of ousting Trump and his cabinet. The Sunshine Protection act should not be high on Congress's list of priorities right now. If you really want to do something about DST, don't make it permanently last through winter. Instead, make the following Monday a federal holiday so that people can adjust to the changes and catch up on sleep. Or change the day of adjusting the clock to Friday night or Saturday morning. These would work a lot better than making DST permanent or Standard Time permanent. Oppose the Sunshine Protection act.
