Release Epstein Case Files

To: Sen. Scott, Gov. DeSantis, Rep. Rayner, Sen. Rouson, Rep. Castor, Sen. Moody, Pres. Trump

From: A constituent in Saint Petersburg, FL

July 30

The public's trust has been violated regarding the handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case. Despite repeated promises of transparency and the release of a supposed "client list" identifying individuals involved in Epstein's child sex trafficking operation, the Department of Justice has now reversed course and declined to publicly release evidence. This reversal, combined with the DOJ's apparent role as a protection racket for the Trump administration, is unacceptable. Jeffrey Epstein was a wealthy financier with close connections to powerful figures like Donald Trump. Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell systematically groomed and trafficked young girls to be sexually abused by their wealthy friends. Although Epstein died before sentencing, the public deserves full disclosure of who was complicit in these heinous crimes. The Department of Justice must release all files from the Epstein investigation, including grand jury testimonies and any evidence related to potential co-conspirators. Failing to do so perpetuates the injustice suffered by Epstein's victims and erodes public faith in the judicial system's commitment to holding the powerful accountable. Transparency and a full accounting are crucial to begin restoring trust and delivering justice for the survivors.
