Trump violates Emoluments Clause once again

To: Sen. Cantwell, Sen. Murray, Rep. Jayapal

From: A constituent in Seattle, WA

May 11

With his acceptance of a luxury airliner from a foreign power, President Trump is in clear violation of emoluments rules. This is open faced bribery and corruption. (Not to mention the security concerns of flying in a plane provided by a foreign nation, which I will not even get into!) This is not a “gift” he can legally accept. Trump expressed interest in this flying palace before it was offered. He is going to use and benefit from it a while in office. And he's going to keep using it after he leaves! And with all this, the American taxpayer will be paying through the nose to underwrite this bribery! Accepting this “gift” is illegal. There must be pushback and consequences, including but not limited to impeachment. Hammer home his corruption using any tools or forums at your disposal.
