Homeless Veterans need homes, not involuntary institutionalization. The Trump administrations plan to put homeless vets into guardianship is a violation of the rights they sacrificed to defend. Instead of institutionalizing them we should spend that money on housing them and providing supportive services with “housing first” models that have proven to be effective.
