End tax incentives for data centers!

To: Sen. Johnson, Gov. Whitmer, Rep. Green

From: A verified voter in Goodrich, MI

February 3

Hello, Data Centers are attracted to Michigan in part due to tax incentives that have invited them in. Two Bills are being considered in the Michigan House of Representatives that need vocal support. *Michigan House Bills 5396 and 5397* eliminate the tax incentives for Data Centers and reallocate sales and use tax funds for schools. (96 is about sales tax and 97 is about use tax) I support both and you should, too! Don't let data centers come in to use up all of our water and electricity, then leave massive unusable buildings after the AI bubble bursts! Thank you.
