Investigate any coordinated effort to preemptively cast doubt on election results before votes are even counted. When political actors lay the groundwork for rejecting outcomes they haven't seen yet, that is not skepticism. It is a strategy to override the will of voters. This pattern has a cost. Every time unfounded claims of fraud are seeded before an election, it becomes harder to certify legitimate results, harder to defend election workers, and harder to hold the line when pressure mounts after election night. The damage is not hypothetical. We have seen what happens when officials refuse to certify, when slates of electors are fabricated, and when courts are flooded with baseless suits. My vote, and the votes of everyone in this district, must mean something. Take a clear public stand against any effort to delegitimize election outcomes without evidence, and support legislation that strengthens certification processes and protects election officials from political interference.
