Investigate the nature and extent of the current administration's relationship with Russia. The Soviet Union killed tens of millions and enslaved hundreds of millions more. Russia under Putin is its successor state, and it has never stopped acting as an adversary to the United States and our allies. The Cold War cost thousands of American lives through Kremlin-sponsored proxy wars. Nuclear war was barely averted in 1962. Ronald Reagan called the Soviets "the evil empire" and built his entire foreign policy around the principle that we win and they lose. Treating Russia as a partner or ally today betrays every American who lived through that struggle and every soldier who died in it. I expect a full, transparent investigation into any financial, political, or strategic ties between the current administration and the Russian government. The American people need to know whose interests are actually being served.
