Vote no on KOSA, IODA and other bills like them!

The Interstate Obscenity Definition Act, the SCREEN Act, the APCA, KOSA, KOSMA, and BlockBEARD are all bills that weaken the protections granted to us by the First Amendment while threatening security and privacy for the sake of insecure age verification and censorship. SESTA and FOSTA have been subsequent failures in keeping minors and sex workers from being exploited and the rollout of the Online Safety Act in the UK, along with age verification laws in other countries have not made minors any safer, but have instead made it easier for cyber criminals and predators to steal data, leak it, sell it on the dark web, hack accounts and steal money, not to mention make it easier for kids to be groomed. It creates an indirect ban on legal goods and content while simultaneously creating incentives for exploiters to steal identities to create illegal content with. Roblox used age verification and as a result the grooming situation happened. These laws endanger families, activists, the press, entertainers, sex workers, and soon even the nation's security will fall victim to instances like these because of laws like this. Please oppose KOSA, IODA, KOSMA, APCA, the SCREEN Act, and BlockBEARD. Thank you.
