Call to action: does Congress serve the people?

To: Rep. Tenney, Sen. Schumer, Sen. Gillibrand

From: A constituent in Perry, NY

January 25

I write to you today to ask for compassion, generosity, and humanity. How many lives can be stolen from American citizens before you can admit enough is enough. This is a nation built on and made up of immigrants, and humans are belittled to skin color. It is repulsive, that we are living in times where the right to abortion is a debate, while unchecked agents can kidnap, hide, hurt, or kill immigrants and citizens alike. There is no situation where a camera should be considered a weapon, and as we see most recently; peaceful protest is being met with violence and bigotry for the cover up of the Epstein files and this administration’s true goal with Minnesota and the other swing states. The media is beginning to realize that this administration’s greatest policy is misinformation, denial, and lying; what is the breaking point? Children in this country have been traumatized to an unprecedented extent, worrying for their classmates, teachers, and own safety. No ICE operations should take place at a school, the supposed goal is violent criminals, not innocent lives that fill up a detention center. I urge you to take action against ICE, and for the American people, documented or not. Constitutional rights aren’t for premium or white citizens, but all persons in the United States. Uphold and respect the 1st, 4th, and 5th amendments, as well as your constituents.
