Protect Immigrants’ Free Speech

To: Sen. Fetterman, Sen. McCormick, Pres. Trump, Rep. Evans

From: A constituent in Philadelphia, PA

April 9

The proposed monitoring of immigrants' social media for antisemitism raises concerning questions about freedom of expression and equal protection under the law. Singling out criticism of one group while ignoring hateful rhetoric targeting other marginalized communities seems discriminatory. A more balanced approach that upholds Constitutional rights while addressing all forms of hate speech would be preferable to this targeted surveillance. I urge you to reconsider this policy in favor of one that is viewpoint-neutral and applies evenhandedly across all ethnic, religious, and other protected groups.
