The Trump administration has sent an innocent man, Kilmar Garcia, to prison in El Salvador. He was here in the US legally and was not convicted of any crime. He was kidnapped from his home and taken from his family by ICE and illegally sent to El Salvador. You must get Mr. Garcia back to the US, as the judge ordered earlier today. Prove that the US is the land of liberty and safety you claim it is. Stop deporting innocent people. Stop sending anyone to El Salvador prisons, known for their human rights violations. How many of the Venezuelan immigrants sent to El Salvador without due process were also innocent. Bring them back and give them the fair trial they deserve. These are people first and foremost. Forget their immigration status; they are people owed the same rights as any American. Do the right thing and bring all of them back, Kilmar Garcia and all the Venezuelan immigrants.
